Fight Fare and Play Square

October 30th, 2009

If you are in the fighting mood today, or you had that very bad day where everything went up wrong. I have one good advice to you that you dare not listen to. It is how to divert all those pent up energy and frustration all gathered up inside of you and is waiting to explode, if you think you are likely to hit someone, better think twice dude.

Why not turn on the nearest online computer available in your vicinity, log on to some free games online, and play some good Fighting Games where you could hit and beat the last life of that wicked villain to the last drop of his blood.

Like the mad cupid revenge of nerd game I am enjoying right now. Sometimes it feels good to beat the wicked ones. If in a fighting mood better do it the legal way dude.

And if you are already calm down and refresh why not try some Car Games to totally ease that frustrations in you and begin to have some real good fun.

Friendster and Yahoo Messanger Signing Up | Needs Update

December 9th, 2008

If I may just share, hundreds of students here in our place are creating their Friendster accounts. And most of the time – the common problem is the account verification. Usually, these people just jump into signing up and writing a non-existing email address, just so they can have a “friendster”.

Well, you have to understand that some users are actually first timers or still unaware of the correct procedure. So, I listed here some of the frequent errors they usually encounter while signing up, and some pages of yahoo and friendster,  that I noticed needs modification. I hope someday yahoo and friendster can do something about this, to make signing up a bit user-friendly. :-)

  1. The first is the friendster account verification.

Users usually ignore this procedure. Why? Because most of them don’t really know how to verify their account and that the e-mail address they have entered doesn’t really exist. And, the fact that even without verifying, they can still continue using their account and use other services except sending messages. But, the ingenuity of Filipinos still prevail :-) , they just use testimonials in sending messages. So, if you notice some friendster accounts have lots of private conversations on their testimonial portion. :-)

  1. Next one is the Yahoo signing up procedure.

When you ask ordinary Filipinos, what is their e-mail address, the automatic answer is something with @yahoo.com. :-)

Signing up using the yahoo.com is easier.

But others prefer using the one at yahoo messenger.

But the problem is the zip code, even if you know your zip code you can’t use your real usual 4-digit number, because it requires 5. So, I guess that need modification for yahoo.

Another thing is the friendster lay-outs, I think the suggested layouts at the customize page section is just a waste of space. Because, the truth is most accounts don’t use them!

Hence, I suggest that it is time for friendster and yahoo to update them. :-)

Bloggers Tip #1 | Leave Some Questions to Your Readers

September 26th, 2008

Yes indeed… I’ve been blogging since March 2008 and gladly some of my posts have nice traffics and are fishing out lots of comments from my readers.

Comments are nice, because it gives feelings of connection, I feel I am connecting to my readers, I get to know what is on their mind and their opinions, it is more lively and interacting (and at least I know someone is seriously reading my posts :-) lol)

And, I’ve noticed post which will likely earn a comment are those with hanging questions at the end.

But, just be sure that they are honest and post related questions, because I know that blog readers are intelligent!

Just a simple query about your readers opinion on the issues about your post, because I guess it would be absurd to ask mathematical or scientific questions at all. But thinking about it, why not indeed, maybe some readers are fond of answering such questions. :-)

So, what do you think about that tip? :-)

Melamine in Milks

September 24th, 2008

The recent Chinese Milk Scandal is saddening. Especially since most of the victims are helpless children and babies who can’t protect their selves yet and had to rely on adults to ensure better future for them.

But what has adults done now?

In our selfish desire to earn more money, some unthinking individuals resulted to adding the toxic melamine to milks to ensure high registers of protein in their products to be more competitive in the market.

And what result did we obtain from that?

- It claim lives, helpless lives of children. Some toddlers developed kidney stones which could lead to several infections in the future.

- jobs for thousand of people, for those who are working in the alleged contaminated milk companies

- sales, investments

- trust of the millions of consumers all over the world over Chinese products

- and what else?

And so to all consumers

For your own protection, check carefully all dairy products with Chinese brands as well as those unlabeled products. All dairy products includes, powder milks, liquid milks, yogurts, milk candies, anything which has milk contents on them.

Even if experts say that intake of little amount of products with melamine is not dangerous… you can never tell how little indeed you can consume. :-)
